Jr. Kindergarten and Kindergarten
Jr. Kindergarten and Kindergarten offer a dynamic hands-on learning environment for children aged 4 to 5. Our accredited programs foster growth in the intellectual, spiritual, human, and apostolic formation. We actively partner with parents, recognizing them as the primary educators of their children, to unlock the full potential of each child. We invite you to join us and provide your child with the opportunity to experience our extraordinary model of Integral Formation education.
Current research shows that play stimulates brain development, physical and mental health, language, literacy, and social development. Our teachers recognize the role of play as an essential tool, understanding that young students use play to make sense of their experiences and express their ideas.
We focus on the quality of our relationships with our students and their families. We cultivate a nurturing, supportive environment in which children can be risk-takers in their learning. “Having a go!” is encouraged and mistakes are looked upon as steps to learning.

Jr. Kindergarten Program
At Clear Water Academy, we view children as competent and creative learners. Our early education faculty actively promotes exploration within a Montessori-inspired environment. Our curriculum incorporates the best practices from Reggio Emilia, traditional educational philosophies, and inquiry based learning, fostering an understanding of 'why' through intentional play, daily physical activities, problem-solving, and shared experiences with peers. Home reading is introduced as early as Jr. Kindergarten, tailored to each student's readiness.
Our teachers create opportunities for students to develop deeper understanding through communication and hands-on experiences. We help our students feel confident in expanding their thinking through questioning, debate, and shared reasoning by explaining their views, inquiring, reflecting, and comparing. Thinking together in these ways enables students to work successfully and collaboratively ensuring lifelong learning.
Jr. Kindergarten program is offered to children who turn 4 years old by December 31st of the school year they will be in Jr. Kindergarten.

Full Time Kindergarten Program
Our campus and classrooms, at St. Thomas More Hall, have been thoughtfully created, drawing on the latest educational research, brain-development studies, and early-years best approaches. Children are nurtured and cared for within small class sizes and spacious classrooms. Specialist teachers introduce students to a well-rounded curriculum.
In our play-based and academic goal-oriented program, students develop a strong foundation in literacy and numeracy, interpersonal skills, creative thinking, problem-solving, and fine and gross motor skills. As a result, our Kindergarten students are reading and writing by the time they finish.
The Kindergarten program is available for children who turn 5 years old by December 31st of the school year they will be in Kindergarten.

In addition to our academic programming, our students will enjoy a world of enriching activities, including:
PHYSICAL EDUCATION
In Jr. Kindergarten and Kindergarten, students are encouraged to embark on a healthy beginning guided by our dedicated Physical Education Specialist and homeroom teachers following the Spark program (Sports, Play, and Active Recreation for Kids). Culminating the year, younger students participate in the Games Day, a major event that involves all elementary grades in both indoor and outdoor exercises. Parents are welcome to contribute by volunteering at the sports stations and capturing lovely moments through photography.
PUBLIC SPEAKING DEVELOPMENT
Within our classrooms, we implement various activities to foster public speaking abilities, including "Show and Tell" for our Jr. Kindergarten, and "Poem Recital" for our Kindergarten students. Our dedicated teachers play a crucial role in establishing a supportive and nurturing classroom environment that allows students to cultivate these skills gradually and with confidence.
CATECHESIS OF THE GOOD SHEPHERD PROGRAM
The St. Thomas More Hall Atrium is a sacred space prepared for your child to explore and spend time with God, the Word, and specialized materials that link scripture with liturgy. We foster enjoyment within the spiritual life to prepare students for a lifelong relationship with God and to begin the model of Integral Formation education in Elementary.
MUSIC AND SPANISH
Our specialist teachers immerse students in the world of music by introducing them to its fundamental aspects through singing, dancing, and exploring various instruments. Additionally, we incorporate the learning of Spanish as a second language, enhancing their language processing skills and expanding their linguistic capacity.
OUTDOOR PLAYGROUND
Clear Water Academy prides itself on providing a secure and enriching environment for Jr. Kindergarten and Kindergarten students. Our certified and safety-focused outdoor playground is specifically designed for the youngest learners, offering a dedicated space tailored to their developmental needs during school hours as well as within our out school care program. This unique feature not only enhances the educational experience but also provides parents with peace of mind, knowing that their children are in a protected and nurturing environment while at school.
Out of School Program
We focus on creating a safe and nurturing environment consistent with the spirit of the Integral Formation of our school. This care extends to our before and after-school programs for Jr. Kindergarten and Kindergarten students.
Out of School Program activities prepare your child for their day through arts and crafts, painting, games, and dramatic play. After-school sessions include time for a snack, homework, outdoor recreation, games, crafts, or reading. Our Child Care Certified staff design all sessions to continue integral learning and fun in a familiar environment.
