Elementary | Grades 4 - 6

Building on the primary elementary foundation, Grades 4, 5, and 6 prioritize academic excellence and nurture character formation to grow in virtue, discipline, and maturity. We acknowledge and support robust brain research that affirms the advantage of gender-style education. Students in Grades 4 - 6 and Junior High, Grades 7 - 9, learn in separate boys' and girls' classrooms, allowing them to be engaged and challenged in an environment that best serves the learning styles of each sex.  The result is a happier and more confident learner.

Our spacious classrooms, filled with natural light and designed to accommodate small class sizes, provide a safe and inspiring space for your child. Our dedicated faculty members shape the learning environment through their unique approach to teaching. Numerous field trips are organized throughout the year to foster collaboration, encourage exploration, enhance problem-solving skills, and facilitate the development of friendships among students.

Our upper elementary curriculum places a strong emphasis on core subjects such as Mathematics, English Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies, showcasing students' ability to comprehend and apply essential concepts in our comprehensive Junior High program.

Through a robust intellectual foundation, students acquire a wealth of knowledge that enables them to engage in effective oral and written communication that is clear, coherent, and persuasive.

FUN, Formative, and Leadership Growth Clubs

Leadership activities

Clear Water Academy introduced the ECYD clubs from an international Catholic youth association affiliated with the movement Regnum Christi to spread the faith of God and nurture the personal love of Jesus Christ among our students from Grades 4 to 12.

The program will include retreats, summer camps, ski trips, and camp-out missions. ECYD clubs foster a strong sense of community by welcoming students, parents, and our chaplain. This program supports our school mission to the formation of students as Christian leaders who will transform society.

Athletics & Team Development

Sport 4-6

In Grades 4, 5, and 6, boys and girls have separate Physical Education Classes with a focus on practicing skills and game situations.

Grade 5 and 6 students participate in intramural classes organized by the Elementary Physical Education Specialist and their homeroom teacher, where they enjoy recreational sports during lunchtime. Students in Grade 6 enjoy field trips to enrich their classroom learning. During the field trips, students can participate in activities such as archery, horseback riding, hikes, and campfires.

Performance & Fine Arts

Students in a drama class

The integration of Fine Arts into the academic, social, and spiritual lives of students in Grades 4, 5, and 6 is fundamental at Clear Water Academy. Twice a week, elementary learners engage in enjoyable and stimulating activities aimed at nurturing their artistic talents within a collaborative environment.

Drama plays a pivotal role, teaching students the significance of body language and fostering their ability to effectively communicate nonverbally. Music constitutes another vital component, intended to cultivate a lifelong appreciation for diverse musical genres, rhythms, and instruments.

We believe that each student is a unique creation of God, and as such, academic and co-curricular pursuits are essential components of our whole child educational model.

We focus on creating a safe and nurturing environment consistent with the spirit of the Integral Formation of our school. This care extends to our before and after-school programs for elementary students.

Our before-school activities prepare your child for their day through arts and crafts, painting, games, and dramatic play. After-school sessions include time for a snack, homework, outdoor recreation, games, crafts, or reading. Our Child Care Certified staff design all sessions to continue integral learning and fun in a familiar environment.

The total fee for pick-ups and drop-offs is $2,500 per student for the 2023/2024 school year. The fees will be paid in monthly installments (September 1, 2023 - June 1, 2024). For more information please contact us at [email protected]
